About Us
Namaste Equine Rescue was created in 2014 to originally help law enforcement that had seized equines. As time went on, we discovered that 99% of our purpose was to educate horse owners. This turned seizures into a more positive experience of education and knowledge.
If seizure is necessary, we will provide for their needs. This includes shelter, food, vet or farrier care, and unconditional love and attention. Once a horse is physically and mentally ready for adoption, it is our goal to find a permanent, loving home.
Our Mission
The mission of Namaste Equine Rescue is to procure equines seized by law enforcement, primarily serving the state of Wisconsin, to rehabilitate them mentally and physically and re-home them in a safe, forever environment. To further protect equines, Namaste will educate law enforcement and owners on proper management.
